Prepare for a seven-day sugar rush honoring the best meal of the day: dessert.

Beginning Monday, September 12, and running through Sunday, September 18, more than 30 unique sweet treats are filling Seattle shops during the third annual Sweet Week, a sugar-filled celebration created in 2014 by Hot Cakes founder Autumn Martin. 

You better watch your sweet tooth; all week, more than 20 participating shops will offer unique treats not normally offered on their menus, for just $5 each.

Here’s the sweet lineup:

A La Mode Pies

Peanut Butter Banana Pie: NutterButter cookie crust with layers of banana cream and peanut butter mousse topped with whipped cream rosettes and sprinkled with peanut brittle

Amandine Bakeshop

Sour Cherry, Coconut, and Dark Chocolate Macaron Glacé

Pistachio, Huckleberry, and Almond Friand

Bluebird Ice Cream

Special Sweet Week ice cream flavors, made in collaboration with other participating Seattle sweet-smiths

Chocolopolis

Banana Lime Drinking Chocolate with a Petite Ginger Bar: rich, dark drinking chocolate mixed with banana and lime, with a petite bar of dark chocolate topped with candied ginger

Trio of pastries:

Harvest Fruit Vatrushka – brioche pastry with cheese and seasonal fruit filling

Chocolate & Chocolate Bite – soft chocolate cookie with chunks of 68 percent dark chocolate
